Carnegie acted as exclusive financial adviser to Baresso

Carnegie has advised the owners of Baresso Coffee, the leading Danish coffee house with 47 shops throughout Denmark, in its divestment of 100% of the shares to the multi-national holding company JAB Holding at a non-disclosed price. Among other companies, JAB Holding also owns Espresso House, Peet’s Coffee & Tea, Caribue Coffee Company, Jimmy Choo and Bally.

Baresso is the first and largest branded coffee house in Denmark. Baresso has built a strong brand in the Danish market and with a current base of 47 Baresso branded shops in Denmark there exists significant growth potential. Baresso was founded by CEO Kenneth P. Luciani in 2000 and has been owned by him and a small group of Danish investors since the beginning. Baresso serves high quality handcrafted specialty coffee delivered by its 500 colleagues.
